The church in Borgsjö is regarded as one of the highest ranked rokoko churches in the country. The head of the church's construktion was church builder Daniel Hagman. The church is an attraction to many tourists every year.
The church was built in rokoko style from 1766 to 1771 and is regarded as one of trhe highest ranked christian monuments of Swede. The wooden Baptismal font dates back to the 17th century. In the church there is a wood sculpture depicting the protective saint of the church, S:t Olof; carved by Hakon Gulleson in the early 16th century. The bell tower of Per Pålsson is spoken about as the king of Nordic wooden towers.
