Guest harbour | Wiftsavarfs boat club was founded on May 19 1962 by several boating enthusiasts with the aim to promote the Timrå boating life.
Right by the club house you'll find Wilfstavarfs historic blue-collar worker housing area. "Brukssamhälle" is the Swedish term for this type of housing area, which often dates back to the 19th century, when it was connected to its town's industry - mostly paper, iron or glas. There is even a manor house only 300 meters from the port.
At about a 2 km distance there is the Indal river delta with its recreation areas and beaches. The delta is the Sweden's largest.
