Vikbron is Sweden's longest wooden bridge of its kind. Its beautiful wooden structure spanning 133 meters over Ljungans shiny water. The bridge is open to pedestrians and the beautiful environment of the area make the bridge is well worth a visit.

In the 1800s exacted tariff at the passage of the former bridge over Byforsen. In protest against the fee behaved Finsta -Viken villager 1888 a new bridge just half a kilometer downstream. Thus arose Vikbron. At the end of the 1950s rested demolition threat heavily over the bridge, but the resistance was too strong.

It is possible to drive right up to the Vikbron. The bridge itself is however not open to vehicle traffic.
